Abstract

We will present some past and current research illustrating the integration of models with traditional design-based methods.  We will examine how composite estimation is used in the Current Population Survey (a household survey), and how it has been incorporated into the sampling weights since 1998.  We will also present ongoing research on how to combine data from two establishment surveys, for the purposes of producing unified estimates.
