README
The directory KRCG_GJI.dir has the software described in: Kirkwood, Royer,
Chang, and Gordon:
"Statistical tools for estimating and combining finite rotations and
their uncertainties"
Geophysical Journal International, 1998
This software is written in FORTRAN.
The directory HC_JMA.dir has the software described in Hanna, M. and Chang,
T.:
"Fitting smooth histories to rotation data"
Journal of Multivariate Analysis, 2000.
This software is written in FORTRAN.
The directory Splus_stuff.dir will have software described in:
Chang, Ko, Royer, and Lu:
"Regression techniques in plate tectonics"
(The influence diagnostic software is here; all the other software is in
KRCG_GJI.dir.)
Chang, Hendriks, Yang:
"An application to plate tectonics of regression estimation for matched
Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes"
This software is written in Splus, but calls FORTRAN subroutines within
Splus. It has been tested using Splus version 3.4 and whatever FORTRAN comes
with SUN Solaris. I have heard a rumor that PC
versions of Splus are rather picky about what versions of FORTRAN they will
link with.
THIS DIRECTORY IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
